What
is Involved in The Design Phase?
The design phase involves several steps:
Instructional
Analysis: what content should be taught, and in what order?
Goals
& Objectives: what should students be able to do when they finish
the unit or course, in both general (goals) and specific (objective) levels
of analysis?
Evaluation
Design: how will you assess whether students are actually learning the
material?
Instructional
Strategy: this is the “road map” specifying how you’ll get from
the objectives to actual student learning.
